Henry W. Ambrose

Henry was born on April 14th, 1843 in Frederick County, Virginia.¹ Henry's father was Lewis Ambrose and his mother was Elizabeth Hawkins. His paternal grandparents were John Bell Ambrose Sr and Elizabeth "Betsy" Crum. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Christian, Francis, Hiram, Lewis, Sarah, Lucy and Eliza. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 71 on February 14th, 1915.¹
