James Thomas Barnes 
James was born on September 24th, 1819 in Maryland.1 James' father was Rezin Barnes and his mother was Catherine Rizer. His maternal grandparents were George W. Rizer and Margaret "Peggy" Ambrose. He had five brothers and two sisters, named George, Benjamin, Rezin, William, Jacob, Rebecca and Sophia. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 92 on December 24th, 1911.2 -
