Catherine Rizer

Catherine was born on March 17th, 1795 in Frederick County, Virginia.¹   Catherine's father was George W. Rizer and her mother was Margaret "Peggy" Ambrose.  Her maternal grandfather was William Henry Ambrose and her maternal grandmother is Sarah. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Jacob, George, William, Benjamin, Philip, Anne, Sophia, Hetty and Maria.  She was the third oldest of the ten children.  She died before 1870 in Wisconsin.
