Thankful Crosby 
Thankful was born on February 17th, 1714 in Harwich, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.1 Thankful's father was William Crosby and her mother was Mercy Hinckley. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Crosby and Sarah Fitch; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Hinckley and Sarah Pope. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Tully, William, Nathan, Seth, Mehitable, Mehitable, Huldah and Mercy. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 88 on December 17th, 1802 in Harwich, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.-
