Oliver Emmerson Herndon

Oliver was born in 1851. Oliver's father was Hearndon and his mother was Ann Emmerson. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Herndon and Polly Elliott. He had three brothers and a sister, named Joseph, Elliott, John and Daughter. He was the oldest of the five children. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named James, Jones, Daniel, William, Elizabeth, Polly, Jane and Nancy.
