Rocky was born on July 15th, 1942 in Los Angeles, California. Rocky's father was Paul Hobart Shire and his mother was Elizabeth Marie Webster. His paternal grandparents were Eli A Shire and Elizabeth May Shephard; his maternal grandparents were Leroy Edward Webster and Minnie Estelle Mitchell. He had four brothers and a sister, named Lowell, Paul, Zane, Robert and Lauvita. He is the youngest of the six children.General Notes
