Anna Jane Ambrose 
Anna was born in 1843 in West Virginia.1 Anna's father was Nicholas T. Ambrose and her mother was Elizabeth Ann "Bethany" O'Brien. Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Ambrose and Sophia Marquart. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named John, Peter, James, Mathias, Jacob, William, George, Mary and F.. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 74 in 1917.-
