Elijah Kirtley Herndon

Elijah was born on March 13th, 1835. Elijah's father was Wesley Herndon and his mother was Esther Halberstadt. His paternal grandparents were William Herndon and Mary Bohannon. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Anthony, William, Elizabeth, Amanda, Mary, Sarah, Jane and Mellison. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 75 on November 21st, 1910 in Covington, Kentucky.
