Mellison Herndon

Mellison was born on December 29th, 1831. Mellison's father was Wesley Herndon and her mother was Esther Halberstadt. Her paternal grandparents were William Herndon and Mary Bohannon. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Anthony, William, Elijah, Elizabeth, Amanda, Mary, Sarah and Jane. She was the second youngest of the nine children.
