John Ambrose

John was born in 1805 in Berkeley County, Virginia. John's father was Mathias Ambrose and his mother was Rosanna Clover. His paternal grandfather was William Henry Ambrose and his paternal grandmother is Sarah; his maternal grandparents were Philip A Clover and Elizabeth. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named David, Ticey, Henry, William, George, Joseph, Margaret, Martha, Polly, Rosanna, Hannah, Susannah and Lucy. He was the seventh oldest of the fourteen children.
