William was born on September 4th, 1824 in Highland County, Ohio.  William's father was Joseph Creek and his mother was Susannah Gibler. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Joseph, Levi, West, David, Catherine, Phebe, Lydia, Julia Ann, Helen and Susannah.  He was the youngest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 81 on September 11th, 1905 in Highland County, Ohio.
