Catherine Maria Van Valkenburgh 
Catherine was born in 1805 in Kinderhook, Columbia County, New York. Catherine's father was Bartholomeus Van Valkenburgh and her mother was Catherine Pruyn. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Van Valkenburgh and Cathalyntie Leggett; her maternal grandparents were Harmon Pruyn and Jannetje Goes. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Jacob, Harman, Bartholomew, Francis, William, Elizabeth, Jannetje, Bata, Maria and Lydia. She was the third youngest of the eleven children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Jacob and Catlinje. She died at the age of 83 on May 8th, 1888.General Notes
