Catherine Belle Ambrose 
Catherine was born on October 13th, 1849 in Berkeley Springs, Morgan County, West Virginia.1 Catherine's father was Mathias D. Ambrose and her mother was Anna M. (Nancy) Vanorsdall. Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Ambrose and Sophia Marquart. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Daniel, John, Fannie and Annie. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 66 on March 21st, 1916 in Lawton, Comanche County, Oklahoma. She was buried in Lawton, Comanche County, Oklahoma.General Notes
According to descendant Elizabeth Schulze, she was christened as Catherine Belgium AMBROSE. However, she always wrote her middle name as "Belle".
