Elizabeth Ann (Annie) Ambrose 
Elizabeth, known as Annie, was born about 1860 in Morgan County, Virginia.1 Annie's father was Mathias D. Ambrose and her mother was Anna M. (Nancy) Vanorsdall. Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Ambrose and Sophia Marquart. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Daniel, John, Fannie and Catherine. She was the youngest of the five children. She died before 1900.-
