Algernon Reynolds Lyon 
Algernon was born in November 1859 in St. Mary's, West Virginia, 15 miles from Marietta, Ohio. Algernon's father was David Marion Lyon and his mother was Sarah C. Shaffer. His paternal grandparents were William Lyon and Elizabeth Tweedy. He had three brothers and four sisters, named George, Selina, William, Margret, Mary, Sadie and Lucie. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 68 in 1927.General Notes
He lived in Grant County, Oklahoma in 1900 and 1910.
