George Henry Ambrose 
George was born in August 1861 in Morgan County, Virginia.1 George's father was Nicholas T. Ambrose and his mother was Elizabeth Ann "Bethany" O'Brien. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Ambrose and Sophia Marquart. He had six brothers and three sisters, named John, Peter, James, Mathias, Jacob, William, Mary, Anna and F.. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 67 in 1928.2 -
