Jacob Wesley Ambrose

Jacob was born in August 1857 in Morgan County, Virginia.¹ Jacob's father was Nicholas T. Ambrose and his mother was Elizabeth Ann "Bethany" O'Brien. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Ambrose and Sophia Marquart. He had six brothers and three sisters, named John, Peter, James, Mathias, William, George, Mary, Anna and F.. He was the third youngest of the ten children.
