Hannah was born on March 2nd, 1786 in Wilkes County, Georgia.  Hannah's father was Thomas Travis and her mother was Hannah Hutchins.  Her paternal grandparents were John Travis and Nancy Copeland. She had three brothers and three sisters, named William, Jeremiah, Thomas, Elizabeth, Catherine and Nancy.  She was the youngest of the seven children. She had four half-brothers named James, John, Beverly and Jeremiah.  She died in Paris, Texas.
