Peter V. Ambrose

Peter was born on April 15th, 1829 in Morgan County, West Virginia.  Peter's father was Daniel Ambrose and his mother was Anna Nancy Rizer.  His paternal grandfather was William Henry Ambrose and his paternal grandmother is Sarah; his maternal grandparents were Rev. Mathias G. Rizer and Mary Michael. He had a brother and two sisters, named Jacob, Catherine and Ambrose.  He was the youngest of the four children. He had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named Ambrose, Ambrose, Nelson, Nicholas, William, Mathias and Susan.  He died at the age of 67 on August 15th, 1896.¹
