Elizabeth was born in 1562 and her christening took place on May 31st, 1562 in Wivelscombe, Somersetshire, England.  Elizabeth's father was Robert Bennett and her mother was Elizabeth Edney.  Her paternal grandparents were John Bennett and Margery. She had nine brothers and four sisters, named John, John, Johan, Robert, William, Richard, Christopher, Edward, Thomas, Margery, Agnes, Dorothy and Eleanor.  She was the third oldest of the fourteen children.  She died after 1603.
