Lillie May Ambrose

Lillie was born on August 20th, 1872 in Morgan County, West Virginia.¹ Lillie's father was Peter V. Ambrose and her mother was Mariah Alice Whisner. Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Ambrose and Anna Nancy Rizer. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Elmira, Samuel, William, Levi, Harry, Anna, Mollie, Eva and Amanda. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. She had five half-brothers named Jesse, Aaron, George, E. and Jeremiah.
